The rest of this documentation is arranged by screen, by route or by tool. These pages are arranged by job instead: one thing somebody wants done, from the first step to the last, whichever screens it happens to cross on the way.
Publishing
Reelwire makes each video and hands it over when it is due; it never posts it. Publishing is how a handed-over post gets onto the platforms, in two groups of three guides, one for each way of getting it there:
- Handed over by email: a person posts from the post kit. Post a video by hand, Let your AI assistant post it and Post through a posting service.
- Handed over by webhook: your own system posts, with nobody in between. Post through the platforms' APIs, Let an AI session post it and Post through a posting service's API.
Where every guide starts
Every new workspace comes with a brand called Default brand and a channel called Default channel, which hands its posts over by email. That channel already listens to a post list called Default post list and a stream called Default stream, so a post you type into the list, or data your own system sends to the stream, becomes a real video you can post before you connect a single social account.
What those videos can be made from is in the Catalogue: every template and every feed, each on a page of its own.
