X
Reelwire does not post on X itself yet. Until it does, a channel on X is handed over by email or by webhook, and posted from there.
Why not yet
As of September 2026: X decides which apps may post through its API, on plans it charges for and changes often, and posting a video asks more of an app than posting text. Rather than set that up the same way for everybody, we look at it with each customer who asks.
Post meanwhile
Every channel on X can do what every channel could before the connectors:
- By email. Switch on Email under When a post is due, and a person posts from the post kit: Post a video by hand, Let your AI assistant post it or Post through a posting service.
- By webhook. Switch on Webhook, and a system of yours posts it, with nobody in between: Post through the platforms' APIs, Let an AI session post it or Post through a posting service's API.
Posting services already post to X for their customers, which is often the quickest way there.
Shapes
A channel on X renders 9x16, 4x5, 1x1 and 16x9, whichever you choose per channel. Its text is fitted to what X takes.
