Reelwire Pocket

Reelwire Pocket, under Content sources, is your assistant on your phone. During your day you drop into it what is worth showing: photos, short videos, a written note, a voice note. On the days you choose, Reelwire turns what came in into a few posts, shows each one as a picture, and the one you pick goes out on your channels. When nothing came in, it asks you, gently and at the time you set, whether there is something to share today, with an idea that fits your business.

It is not a chat. A few guided questions at the start, then a phone screen with four big buttons: Photo, Video, Speak and Jot down.

Some ways it is used:

  • An estate agent photographs a flat room by room and says a few words about it; the post is a slideshow of the rooms with their words as captions.
  • A shop owner snaps the new arrivals on the shelf; the post is a showcase of them.
  • A dog groomer films a happy dog after its cut; the post is the video with the brand laid over it.
  • A craftsman takes a picture before and after the job; the post shows both side by side.
  • A pharmacist records a voice note with this week's tip; the post is a text card in the brand.

Set up a pocket

  1. Under Reelwire Pocket, press Add new pocket and give it a name, such as your business.
  2. Connect phone shows a QR code and an eight-character code, valid for ten minutes. Point your phone's camera at the QR code and open the page it offers.
  3. Add Reelwire Pocket to your phone's home screen and open it from there:
    • iPhone: in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Open Pocket from the home screen and type the code. An iPhone shows reminders only for an app opened from the home screen.
    • Android: tap Install when your browser offers it, or use the browser's menu.
  4. Allow notifications when Pocket asks, so it can remind you. Without them, reminders arrive by email.

A phone is part of the seat of the person who connected it: it posts as you and never signs you out of the dashboard. Forget a phone under Connect phone at any time. A pocket can be on up to ten phones.

The guided conversation

The first time you open Pocket, it asks a few questions, one at a time: what your business does, who your customers are, what is worth showing from your daily work, how your posts should sound, and anything that must never be posted. Tap one of the suggested answers, type your own, or press Speak. It takes about two minutes.

From your answers it writes what it understood and eight ideas of things to capture in your day. Today's idea on the phone and the reminders offer them. See it, or have the conversation again, under Assistant on the pocket's row.

Drop in moments

Each press of a big button starts a moment: one to ten photos or videos, from the camera or from the phone, with a few words about them, typed or spoken. A voice note or a note alone is a moment too. Put it in my pocket sends it. Photos are made smaller on the phone first, so they arrive quickly.

Pocket then looks at each moment: what the pictures show, whether each is good enough to post, and a tip when one is too dark or blurred. Voice notes are written down on Reelwire's own servers and the recording is deleted once its words are kept. The photos and videos go into your media library and count against your storage like any upload.

How a post is made

Under Settings you choose when the pocket's posts go out: every day, Monday to Friday, three times a week, twice, once, or your own days, at one time of day.

Two hours before each of those times, Reelwire takes the moments that came in since the last post and prepares up to three different posts: it chooses the template that presents them best from the ones the pocket may use, writes the words from what you said and showed (never a price, a date or a fact you did not give) and draws each one as a picture in the brand of the first channel listening. Your phone is told they are ready. Tap Post this one, or None of these to keep the moments for the next post.

A chosen post goes out at its time, or straight away when its time has passed. From there it is like any post: rendered, waiting for approval where its channel asks for it, and handed over by email, webhook or platform connector as the channel is set. Nothing in the pocket means no post that day.

Make a post now prepares posts at once from what is in the pocket, on the phone or on the dashboard.

When nobody chooses decides what happens at the post's time if nobody picked one: Wait for me to choose keeps the suggestions until the next post day; Post the suggestion Reelwire likes best posts the first one.

Reminders

On the days a post goes out, or every day, at the time you set, Pocket asks whether there is something to share today, if nothing was put in the pocket that day. When a post's preparation finds the pocket empty, it reminds you once more. Switch reminders off, or change their time, in Settings on the dashboard or on the phone.

Settings

  • Name and Language of the posts (English, German or Spanish). A channel in another language gets the posts translated.
  • When its posts go out, When nobody chooses and Reminder, as above. Times are in your own time zone.
  • Channels: the channels its posts go out on. Each still asks for approval where it is set to.
  • Templates it may use: Reelwire chooses among these for each post. A new pocket starts with the ones that present photos and videos best (Slideshow, Photo story, Showcase, Spotlight, Overlay, Picture before and after, Testimonial, Offer card and Text card), all in one style; Give all of them one style changes the style of every one at once.

More on the row pauses a pocket (moments still arrive, nothing is prepared and nobody is reminded) or removes it. Removing it keeps its photos and videos in your media library and its posts as they are.

Moments and suggested posts

The card under the pockets shows, for one pocket at a time, the posts to choose from, the posts chosen and where each got to, and every moment with what the assistant understood. Take out removes a moment from the pocket; its files stay in the media library.

What happens to what you drop in

The pictures, your notes and the words of your voice notes are read by the AI behind Reelwire Pocket, run by Anthropic, to describe the moments and write the posts, and are used for nothing else. Voice notes are written down on Reelwire's own servers, and the recordings are not kept. See the privacy policy and the Data Processing Agreement.
