Transitions

A brand's Transitions setting decides how the stinger, the intro, the clip and the outro pass into each other: open the brand's Settings on Brands and choose one. Every transition but Off runs the end of one part into the start of the next in 0.4 seconds. It shows only where the brand has a stinger, an intro or an outro switched on, since a clip on its own has nothing to pass into.

Each example below is the same video: a brand's intro passing into a clip made with the Big number template, in 9x16, cut down to the moment they meet and played over and over. Only the frames where two parts meet are drawn for a transition, so a video with one is ready a few seconds after one with straight cuts.

Dissolves

The part ending fades into the next. Blur dissolve goes out of focus and back, Noise dissolve lets the next part sparkle in, and Light dissolve shows its brightest places first.

Dips

The picture passes through a colour or a light on its way. Dip to the brand colour uses your Brand colour; Flash is a burst of light that keeps the picture's shapes, and Light leak a warm glow drifting across.

Moves

The pictures move. A Push moves both parts, the next one pushing the other out; a Slide brings the next part in over the one ending, which stays where it is. Split parts the picture down the middle, and Whip pan is a fast push that smears as it goes.

Wipes

An edge or a shape uncovers the next part. In Ink it spreads in like ink, and Brand sweep and Shutter hide the cut under your Brand colour.
