What it accepts
A product picture standing whole with two to five benefits arriving beside it one by one, each with a drawn tick or icon and, where a spot on the picture is given, a line drawing to the part it describes; then the price, a note and a call to action. metaData is the post's title, descriptions and hashtags and is never drawn.
| Field | Type | Required | Limit | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|---|
clipData | group | yes | Clip data: Everything drawn: a kicker, the title, the product picture, the benefits (an icon, a title, a line and optionally the spot on the picture each describes), the price, a note, the call to action and the look. Spots are percentages of the picture's own width and height from its top left corner, so a line lands on its part whatever the frame. | |
clipData.kicker | text | up to 20 characters | Kicker: A word above the title, such as NEW or IN STORE NOW. | |
clipData.title | text | yes | up to 80 characters | Title |
clipData.picture | image | yes | media:// file from the media library, alt text up to 120 characters | Product picture: The product from the media library, best on a plain or clear background. Drawn whole in the style's frame, never cropped, so every spot lands where it was placed. |
clipData.benefits | list | yes | at least 2, up to 5 | Benefits: Two to five, arriving one at a time in the order sent, each with its icon, a title and a line. Give a benefit a spot on the picture and a line draws from it to that part of the product; without one it simply stands beside the product. Each adds a little over two seconds. |
clipData.benefits[] | group | Benefit | ||
clipData.benefits[].icon | enum | check, star, bolt, clock, money, home, person, pin, calendar, info, plus, arrow | Icon: Drawn beside the benefit. Left out, a tick. | |
clipData.benefits[].title | text | yes | up to 32 characters | Title |
clipData.benefits[].text | text | up to 90 characters | Line: One or two lines under the title. | |
clipData.benefits[].x | number | from 0, to 100, 2 decimals | Spot across, %: Where on the picture the line points, from 0 at its left edge to 100 at its right. Needs Spot down too; left out, no line is drawn. | |
clipData.benefits[].y | number | from 0, to 100, 2 decimals | Spot down, %: From 0 at the picture's top edge to 100 at its bottom. Needs Spot across too. | |
clipData.price | group | Price: Shown under the product with the note once every benefit is in. Left out, none is shown. | ||
clipData.price.label | text | up to 16 characters | Above the price: Such as From or Now. | |
clipData.price.value | number | yes | from 0, 2 decimals | Price: Written with two decimals where it has cents, without any where it has none. |
clipData.price.prefix | text | up to 3 characters | Currency: Written before the price, such as EUR or a currency sign. | |
clipData.price.unit | text | up to 16 characters | After the price: Such as a month. | |
clipData.note | text | up to 70 characters | Note: A short line under the price: what is in the box, a guarantee, a condition. | |
clipData.cta | text | up to 28 characters | Call to action: Written on the style's panel at the end, beside the price, after a drawn arrow. | |
clipData.look | group | Look: How the clip looks and moves within its style. The same five switches in every format of the collections. Leave a switch out, or set it to the style's own, and the style decides. | ||
clipData.look.theme | enum | auto, brand, light, dark, bold | Theme: The style's own choice; your brand's own colours and background; a light or dark page tinted with your brand colour; or your brand colour as the page. | |
clipData.look.pace | enum | auto, calm, standard, punchy | Pace: How things arrive: the style's own rhythm, calm fades, a standard rhythm, or punchy slams and cuts. | |
clipData.look.corners | enum | auto, square, soft, round | Corners: The shape of cards, panels and marks. | |
clipData.look.align | enum | auto, start, centre | Text alignment: Where the text lines up. | |
clipData.look.logo | enum | auto, free | Logo: The style's own: the logo on the style's plate (a card, a disc, a badge) so it reads on any page. As it is: the logo whole, with no plate, frame or crop, for a logo made to stand on the page, such as one with a transparent background. As it is, make sure your logo reads on the page of the theme you choose. | |
metaData | group | Meta data: Everything about the post that is never drawn in the clip: its title, its description in four lengths, one per kind of platform, and its hashtags. Reelwire adds the brand's description, link and hashtags after it. Left out, the post text is generated from the clip data. | ||
metaData.title | text | up to 100 characters | Title: Used where the platform has a title of its own: Facebook Feed, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube. Up to 100 characters, which every one of them takes. | |
metaData.captionTiny | text | up to 200 characters | Tiny description (Pinterest, Threads, X): Up to 200 characters. The brand's description, link and hashtags follow it within the platform's limit. | |
metaData.captionShort | text | up to 500 characters | Short description (Telegram, Threema, WeChat, WhatsApp): Up to 500 characters. The brand's description, link and hashtags follow it within the platform's limit. | |
metaData.captionMedium | text | up to 1500 characters | Medium description (Discord, Facebook Reels, Instagram, LinkedIn, Signal, Slack, TikTok): Up to 1500 characters. The brand's description, link and hashtags follow it within the platform's limit. | |
metaData.captionLong | text | up to 4000 characters | Long description (Facebook Feed, YouTube): Up to 4000 characters. The brand's description, link and hashtags follow it within the platform's limit. | |
metaData.hashtags | list | up to 15 | Hashtags: Written without the #. Up to 15, which every platform takes. | |
metaData.hashtags[] | text | up to 60 characters | Hashtag |
locales carries other languages: under each language code, the parts of clipData and metaData that differ, laid over the default, so a language with no copy still renders.
A picture is always a file from your media library: media:// followed by its id or its name.
Anything the table does not list is refused, and so is anything over its limit, with a 422 that
names the field.

Delivery JSON
Your own system sends this to one of your streams, POST /v1/stream, and every channel listening to
that stream draws it with its template. data is the document described above; a stream with an
empty field map passes it to the template unchanged. Try it first on POST /v1/stream/validate,
which answers the same without publishing anything. Streams and feeds
explains the rest, including how to map a document of your own shape instead.

"captionMedium": "Meet Evening Peaks, our new 1000-piece puzzle.\n\nStart with the snow caps: three white peaks stand out from the blue slopes and make easy first corners to build out from.\n\nThe sky sorts itself. It fades from a clear blue at the top into evening orange near the horizon, so every sky piece has a shade of its own and none of them is a guess.\n\nSave the sun for last. The pale disc in the evening glow is the piece everybody wants to place.\n\nThe pieces are cut from thick recycled board, click together and stay put, and the box stacks neatly on a shelf. Finished, the puzzle is 70 by 50 cm, and a poster of the picture comes in the box.\n\nNow EUR 24.90.",
"captionLong": "Meet Evening Peaks, our new 1000-piece puzzle, made for a long weekend at the table.\n\nThe snow caps. Three white peaks stand out from the blue slopes around them, which makes them the easiest place to start: build the caps, then work outwards down the mountains.\n\nThe sky. It fades from a clear blue at the top into evening orange near the horizon, so every sky piece has a shade of its own. Sort them from light to dark and the sky almost builds itself.\n\nThe sun. A pale disc low in the evening glow, and the piece everybody at the table wants to place. We suggest you save it for last.\n\nThe pieces. Cut from thick recycled board, they click together and stay put when you slide a finished section across the table. The box is the same size as our other puzzles, so it stacks neatly on a shelf.\n\nFinished, the puzzle is 70 by 50 cm, and a poster of the picture comes in the box so you can check where a piece belongs.\n\nEvening Peaks is available now for EUR 24.90. Prices are illustrative.",

The delivery names no version: which build draws it is the channel's choice, the newest of its
variant or the one it is pinned to. eventId is a ULID you make once per event: sending the same
one again changes nothing. occurredAt is when the thing happened, not when you sent it. locale
is the language of the text in data, and data.locales carries other languages beside it.
