Tech and industry (Manufacturing and industry)
Ten posts a factory, an engineering firm or an industrial supplier makes, drawn as an engineering drawing: a fine grid, dimension lines, a title block with drawing number and revision, every safety and quality figure with its period. Spec sheet, Safety days, Machine uptime, Quality rate, Lead time, Free capacity, Certificates, Plant tour, Trade fair and Hiring.

Use cases
- A story with a headline and up to six figures: a price move, a result, a count, each with the direction it went.
- An announcement with up to five short points and up to three pictures from your media library.
- Your own data sent to a stream, or posts written by hand in a post list, drawn in every shape and language your channels publish in.
Variants
A variant is this template drawn another way, and it comes in versions: immutable builds, the newest first. A channel follows the newest version of its variant, unless it is pinned to one.
| Variant | What it is | Versions | Newest |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spec sheet | A part or a machine as an engineering drawing: the type plate in the header, the part's number and name, the picture whole in its drawing view on centre lines with its overall dimensions ruled round it, and one to ten specs with value, unit and tolerance on a parts list, complete on the first frame. Then a line of light passes over the picture, each spec is selected in turn while its value settles, and the end card brings the button and the presenter. The title block and the footnote stay throughout. | 1 | 1.0.0 |
| Safety days | A plant's safety board as an engineering drawing: the type plate in the header, the site and the headline, the days without a lost-time incident in ruled cells with the period they cover ruled under them like a dimension, the plant's record with a bar of the days so far against it, and up to three more safety figures, each with its period, complete on the first frame. Then the board counts up to exactly the number sent and is stamped, the record and each figure are selected in turn, and the end card brings the button and the presenter. Nine seconds, and a little over a second more per figure. | 1 | 1.0.0 |
| Machine uptime | A plant's uptime as a drawing's parts list: the type plate in the header, the headline and the week or month it covers, the plant's overall figure against its target, and one to eight lines or machines, each with a bar to its uptime, a mark at its target and the figure, a line below target in the brand's down colour, complete on the first frame. Then the overall figure and each line are selected in turn while their figures settle, and the end card brings the button and the presenter. Seven seconds, and one more per line. | 1 | 1.0.0 |
| Quality rate | A quality figure on a measuring dial: the type plate in the header, the headline and the period it covers, the first-pass yield or the figure sent on a gauge with its goal marked, up to three more quality figures, each with its period, and a line about what drove it, complete on the first frame. Then the needle sweeps to exactly the figure sent and is stamped where the goal is met, each figure is selected in turn, and the end card brings the button and the presenter. Eight seconds, and a little over a second more per figure. | 1 | 1.0.0 |
| Lead time | A lead time now against before as an engineering drawing: the type plate in the header, the headline and the day it applies from, the figure now with its change on a tag in the positive or negative colour by what is good news, both lead times drawn as dimensions on a time scale, and up to four product lines with their own lead times, complete on the first frame. Then a measuring head reads from before to now, each line is selected in turn, and the end card brings the button and the presenter. Seven seconds, a little over a second more per product line. | 1 | 1.0.0 |
| Free capacity | Free capacity by month as an engineering drawing: the type plate in the header, the headline, up to twelve months as columns from nought on the sheet with their figures, what the capacity is for and its unit, the full capacity as a dashed line where sent, and a readout of the first month, complete on the first frame. Then the selection walks the months while the readout rolls to each one exact, and the end card brings how to book, the button and the presenter. Five seconds, two thirds of a second more per month. | 1 | 1.0.0 |
| Certificates | The certificates in force as an engineering drawing: the type plate in the header, the headline, one certificate on a ruled sheet with what it covers, the standard large, its number, the date it is valid until, the body that certified it and an inspection stamp, and the register of up to eight certificates, complete on the first frame. Then each certificate in turn is selected and takes the sheet, its stamp pressed, and the end card brings the button and the presenter. Five seconds, 1.4 more per certificate. | 1 | 1.0.0 |
| Plant tour | A walk through the plant as an engineering drawing: the type plate in the header, the headline over the first station's picture in its drawing view and the route of numbered balloons, complete on the first frame. Then each station in turn, its picture whole with a line of light passing over it and its balloon, title and note beside it, then every station together as an overview, then the button and the presenter. The title block and the footnote stay throughout. It grows by stations: two to eight, a little over two and a half seconds each. | 1 | 1.0.0 |
| Trade fair | The invitation to a trade fair stand as an engineering drawing: the fair's name, its dates and place, the stand drawn on a plan of the hall with its number large, and the days left counted from the post's own date, complete on the first frame. Then the exhibits, each picture in its drawing view with its balloon, name and note, selected in turn, then how to book a meeting with the button and the presenter. Hall, stand and dates stand in the title block throughout, the footnote under it. It grows by exhibits: one to four, two seconds each. | 1 | 1.0.0 |
| Hiring | A job post as an engineering drawing: the type plate in the header, the headline, and every open role on a parts list with its numbered balloon, its shift and its place, apprentices welcome where the content says so, complete on the first frame. Then each role is selected in turn, what the company offers arrives point by point, and the end card says how to apply with the button and the presenter. The reference and closing date stand in the title block throughout, the footnote under it. It grows by roles: one to six, under two seconds each. | 1 | 1.0.0 |
